Construction exec leaves century-old family firm to buy Polish meat market

Amy Jones thought she’d spend her career in the construction industry. Instead, she’s now selling kielbasa.

Jones, who worked at her family’s Andy J. Egan Co. since 2006, left the century-old construction firm late last year to buy Sobie Meats, a Polish meat market in Walker that the founders ran for 22 years.
