GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A jury found a man not guilty of a 2025 Grand Rapids shooting that left a father of three dead. He still faces jailtime after being found guilty of several firearms charges.
On Monday, a jury found Keith Tett, 27, not guilty of open murder in the shooting death of 31-year-old Montaness Lowe. Jurors deliberated about eight hours over two days before returning verdicts Monday afternoon, finding him guilty of four firearms charges, including possession by a prohibited person and carrying a concealed weapon.
Tett was arrested in June 2025 on six counts, including open murder. He has been held in jail without bond since then.
