Lansing, Mich. – A colder-than-normal start to March is setting up across parts of Michigan, with multiple rounds of rain and snow possible statewide from Sunday, March 1, through Thursday, March 5.

According to NOAA’s 6-10 day outlook issued Monday, northern Michigan, including the Upper Peninsula, is favored to see below-average temperatures during the March 1-5 stretch, while near-normal readings are more likely across southern Lower Michigan.
