GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A deadly encounter between a man and two Grand Rapids police officers has drawn scrutiny nearly four years after national attention was focused on a different high-profile police shooting in the city.
Family identified Da’Quain Johnson as the 32-year-old who was fatally shot Feb. 18 following an altercation with police in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Eastern Avenue SE.
