Are there any spots you have been missing, counting down the days until you can grab your favorite flurry, banana split, or soft serve? Sure, you can always pick up a pint from the store, but there is just something special about visiting your favorite seasonal ice cream stand when it opens up.
In West Michigan, it is a sure sign that summer is just around the corner. Growing up in South Haven, it was always super exciting to head to Sherman’s Dairy for the first visit of the season, and honestly every visit after that all summer long! We were heart-broken when the beloved local creamery announced it’s closure a few years ago, but it’s since reopened! Can’t wait to go again with my family this summer.
