$50M expansion coming to West Michigan highway

About 2.7 miles of M-37 (Broadmoor Avenue) will be rebuilt over the next two years in Kent County.

Work begins Sunday, March 1, on the $50 million project, which will improve the highway in Caledonia Township and the village of Caledonia.

Crews will widen the roadway to a four-lane boulevard with indirect left-turns, and extend M-37 from 76th Street to 92nd Street to “address operational and safety needs in this growing area,” according to transportation officials…
