University of Michigan Health-West boosts safety with weapons detection system at ER

WYOMING, Mich. — Patients who visit University of Michigan Health – West will find a new weapons detection system at the hospital’s emergency department.

This system, which is part of the hospital’s ongoing efforts to boost safety for patients, visitors and staff, was installed at the department’s front entrance on Tuesday.
