3 Michigan spots rank in top 50 late-night eats nationally, survey finds

ANN ARBOR, MI — Three Michigan establishments earned spots among the top late-night eateries in the country, according to ACE.com’s best after-midnight places to eat list released Friday, March 5.

Fleetwood Diner, 300 S. Ashley St., in Ann Arbor was ranked No. 43 nationally. The diner opened in 1949 as a small dining car and has served University of Michigan students and local residents for more than 75 years, according to the March 5 email.

The restaurant is known for its Hippie Hash and accepts walk-ins 24 hours a day, with online orders available from 8:45 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. Menu staples include Homemade corned beef hash served with two eggs, toast and jelly and the turkey Reuben sandwich with coleslaw and Swiss cheese on grilled rye…
