GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — This Sunday, the clock springs forward an hour into daylight saving time. With that change, some people might have adverse cardiovascular health effects.
“We’ve often seen that there’s an increased cardiovascular risk, typically with heart attack risk, sudden cardiac death and stroke,” said Dr. Thomas Boyden, medical director of preventative cardiology at Corewell Health.
