KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — A Dave & Buster’s employee shot and wounded a 17-year-old after the teen drew a gun outside the restaurant over the weekend, Kentwood police say.
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dave & Buster’s on 28th Street at Lake Eastwood Boulevard.
The Kentwood Police Department said the situation started with an “altercation” outside the restaurant. Police say video showed a 17-year-old pulling a gun and pointing it at several people. In response, a 22-year-old Dave & Buster’s employee drew his own gun and shot the teen.
