Golf ball-sized hail and roads underwater: What Grand Rapids looked like after flooding

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Golf ball-sized hail and widespread flash flooding hit the Grand Rapids area Tuesday night, damaging homes and vehicles.

A flood watch in Kent County remains in effect until 11 a.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service reported.

Photos and videos shared on social media show what happened during a heavy thunderstorm that tore through the state Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.
