GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Residents in a northeast Grand Rapids neighborhood are cleaning up after flash floods swept through the area during Tuesday evening’s storms.
Heavy rain caused water to quickly rise along Carrier Creek Boulevard near Diamond Avenue in the Highland Park neighborhood. By Wednesday morning, piles of hail from the storm were still visible along the street as residents began assessing the damage.
