Ottawa County under wind, winter weather advisories on March 16

Expect a high of 29 degrees that feels more like 12, with an overnight low of 18 degrees on March 16. Forecasters predict Monday will be very windy and colder with intermittent snow and flurries, accumulating an inch or two. Heavier bursts of snow could reduce visibility and make roads slippery.

Ottawa and Allegan counties are under a pair of advisories from the National Weather Service on Monday. A winter weather advisory is in effect until 11 a.m. Tuesday. Snow accumulation of 4-8 inches is possible, along with wind gusts up to 45 miles per hour. Travel could be very difficult, according to NWS.
