GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Lee & Birch, a women’s clothing retailer with locations in Grand Haven, Rockford, Saugatuck and St. Joseph, has closed.
In a social media post, owner Nikki Dykstra‑Gillette said the business, at its peak, grew to six stores and about 40 employees after she opened the first location two decades ago.
“There have been many ups and downs over the years,” Dykstra‑Gillette wrote. “I’ve always said owning a business is like a roller coaster ride. Unfortunately, this time the ride went a little too low and we just can’t make it back up the hill.”…
