ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A barn fire near Sparta late Sunday morning was put out in less than an hour, the fire chief said.
Just after 11 a.m., the Alpine Township Fire Department was called to 10 Mile Road near Alpine Avenue for a report of a barn on fire. The first firefighter to respond lived just up the street, according to Alpine Fire Chief Jeremy Kelly.
