Meth-sniffing dog nabs repeat offender on US-131

WALKER. Mich. (WOOD) — A half-pound of methamphetamine detected by a Kent County police dog during a freeway traffic stop now has the driver — already facing sentencing in a separate meth case — locked up on more drug charges.

Christopher Shaun Street, 53, had an appearance Tuesday in Walker District Court on three charges, including delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine, a 20-year felony.

Street is awaiting sentencing in a separate meth possession case from last year. He was out on bond, but it was revoked after his Feb. 24 arrest.
