ROCKFORD, Mich. (WOOD) — A Rockford family has pledged a $1 million gift to help cover costs for students at Central Michigan University’s medical school.
The university announced Wednesday that Tim and Nan Buerger Maczka Scholarship will be awarded to current and future students at the Covenant Health Care College of Medicine at CMU, focusing especially on people who grew up in northern Michigan.
