ALLENDALE, Mich. — For the second time in two months, Ottawa County health officials are warning the community to stay out of the water along Ottawa Creek and a portion of the Grand River following a new accidental sewage discharge.
Allendale Charter Township Public Utilities reported the incident on Monday. The discharge first began on Thursday, March 19 and is “actively being resolved,” the OCDPH said. The health department said it learned about the discharge on Monday.
