Angel Zoulek, a junior biochemistry student at Grand Valley State University, was recently crowned Miss Michigan Collegiate America. Her win was a culmination of years of hard work, perseverance and community service.
The Miss Michigan Collegiate America Pageant is one part of the America Pageant system, which aims to provide competitors in higher education programs with opportunities that encourage success in their chosen fields. Other pageants within this system focus on multiple age groups, including Miss Elementary America, Miss Junior High America and Miss High School America.
Now holding the state title, Zoulek will travel to Little Rock, Arkansas this July to represent Michigan at the national level, where she will compete with women from across the country…
