GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 2, 2026) – A collision of vehicles driven by two teenagers on Wednesday night in Jenison ended up with one of the motorists hospitalized.
First responders were called to the intersection of Baldwin Street and Cottonwood Drive shortly after 9 PM. That was where an eastbound vehicle drove through a red traffic signal and slammed into a westbound vehicle that was stopped and waiting for the light to change.
An 18-year-old Hudsonville woman piloting that second vehicle was taken to an unnamed medical facility for treatment of minor injuries, while the apparent at-fault driver, a 19-year-old Belmont man, was not hurt.
