GRPS Superintendent recommends non-renewal of administrator’s contract

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Citing years of concerns over management style and a “culture of devaluing members of her staff,” the Grand Rapids Pubic Schools (GRPS) Superintendent does not want to renew the deputy superintendent’s contract.

That’s according to two letters Superintendent Leadriane Roby sent in March, as Deputy Superintendent Dr. Brandy Lovelady Mitchell was put on administrative leave.
