Grand Rapids bar to host inaugural vinyl record sale

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On April 12, visitors to The Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids can attend the inaugural Grand Rapids Vinyl Swap and explore over 30 different collections from local vendors.

“We’re going to be spinning records,” said Nate Dorough, director of programming at the bar and event space. “Pinball machines will be on, bars will be open.”

Taking inspiration from The Pyramid Scheme’s annual Last Chance Holiday Market, the Grand Rapids Vinyl Swap invites the community into the venue for a day of shopping and connection.

“There’s nothing better than opening a record,” Dorough said.

The Grand Rapids Vinyl Swap will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and it will be free to attend. All ages can attend the sale, and a live DJ will perform throughout the day…
