LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has reached an agreement with a wedding caterer following allegations of unlawful business practices.
Nessel announced an Assurance of Voluntary Compliance with Alicia Thompson, owner of Late to the Lake LLC, a Michigan-based catering company. The agreement resolves claims that the business engaged in deceptive practices in violation of the Michigan Consumer Protection Act.
The agreement was reached via Judge Rosemarie Aquilina in 30th Circuity Court in Ingham County. Thompson is a resident of Spring Lake, Mich., in Ottawa County and her business partners with several other businesses across multiple counties in West Michigan, according to its website…
