GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Grand Rapids is kicking off its free summer outdoor workout classes next month, with several new classes being offered this year like mat Pilates, circuit training and more.
The fitness classes will run Monday through Thursday each week this summer, from May 11 to Aug. 20. All classes are free to attend, with no registration required.
“We’re looking forward to another summer of free outdoor fitness classes around the city,” said Amy Kwaiser, fitness coordinator for the parks and recreation department. “These classes are a community favorite and help people enjoy our parks in a new way. As a free program with classes that can be modified to increase or decrease intensity, they’re a great way to return to a favorite workout or find a new one.”…
