GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Richard J. Lacks Cancer Center downtown was filled with hugs and handshakes on Friday night as people with ties to organ donation got together. Some were old friends and others were meeting each other for the first time. All of them have one thing in common – a passion for Gift of Life Michigan and the cause of organ donation.
“Today doing the Transplant Games of America flag signing in honor of the 2026 Transplant Games that are going to be in Denver,” said Joyce Jensen, who serves as the co-manager of Team Michigan.
“This Transplant Games flag travels throughout the United States to the different teams, and everybody gets to sign it. And then it’ll be flown in Denver at the Transplant Games.”…
