Long-term road closures to impact areas in De Pere and Bellevue

BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Two areas in Brown County will be the target of some new long-term road closures that will last into September and October.

According to a release from the Brown County Highway Department, roads in De Pere and Bellevue will be closed for concrete replacements, with each project expected to take several weeks.

In De Pere, County Highway EE between Lawrence Drive and the Ninth Street roundabout will be closed to thru traffic starting on July 23 at 5:00 a.m. This also means that the Grant Street and Ninth Street roundabout will be fully closed.

The posted detour for this closure will be Lawrence Drive to Main Avenue to Reed Street to South Fifth Street. The project is expected to be completed by September 13, weather permitting…
