GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) — Two longtime Green Bay traditions are combining into a single event this week. The city is merging Kids Day and the Kiddie Karnival into the Kids Day Karnival, set for Thursday, July 30, at Bay Beach Amusement Park.
Ann Moeller, recreation manager for the City of Green Bay, said both events have deep roots in the community.
“Kiddie Karnival is a very long, honored tradition in our community,” Moeller said. “Our parkee program has been going on well over a hundred years. And every year our parkee staff come together with the kids in their neighborhood parks and put together these really cool homemade booths made out of cardboard and paint and creativity.”…
