Safe Haven holds fundraiser, first since roof collapse, at Green Bay Pizza Ranch

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A fundraiser was held Wednesday evening in Green Bay to help support a local nonprofit in a big way.

You may remember that the Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary’s roof collapsed after severe storms in June. They were forced to vacate the building, and have since temporarily relocated to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

On August 12, the Pizza Ranch on Main Street hosted a community night for Safe Haven, with all money raised going directly to the nonprofit.

Assistant Operations Manager for Safe Haven, Faithe Parins, told Local 5 that the event was one of the first big ones they had held since the roof collapsed. She also said it was the first time that the sanctuary has had interactions with community members in person, rather than just on Facebook…
