Green Bay OWI task force returns to Brown County streets

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — The Green Bay OWI Task Force is back on the streets this weekend to protect the city from the dangers of drunk drivers.

According to a social media post, the task force will be operating throughout Brown County on Friday, August 14, and Saturday, August 15.

The task force is made up of several different agencies, including:

  • Ashwaubenon Public Safety
  • Brown County Sheriff’s Office
  • De Pere Police Department
  • Green Bay Police Department
  • Hobart/Lawrence Police Department
  • Oneida Police Department
  • Village of Pulaski Police Department
  • UW-Green Bay Police Department
  • Wisconsin State Patrol
  • Wrightstown Police Department

The goal is to “reduce dangerous driving behaviors and educate drivers on safe driving practices,” according to the post.
