GREEN BAY (WLUK) — A faulty dehumidifier caused a basement fire Friday afternoon on Green Bay’s east side, according to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department.
Firefighters were called around 2:26 p.m. to the 1300 block of Cherry Street. The caller reported smoke and flames in the basement, but all occupants had safely evacuated before crews arrived.
