A First Alert Weather Day is in effect through tonight. First round of storms moved through Northeast Wisconsin earlier this morning with an additional round of storms expected later this evening.
Some storms this evening will potentially be severe, particularly south of Green Bay where a level 2/5 risk of severe weather is highlighted. Damaging winds and hail may occur. The heaviest storms may suddenly bring 1-3″ of rain, causing flash flooding in low-lying areas. Areas closer to the Upper Michigan border will not see nearly as much rain. This activity could linger into the early morning hours on Friday leading to a potential messy morning commute. Keep the jacket and umbrella handy for the morning hours.
