HOWARD, Wis. (WBAY) – A 23-year-old Howard woman is sharing a message of hope for families facing the unimaginable after surviving a serious crash on Interstate 41 10 months ago.
Gabby Coda grew up in Appleton and was a competitive dancer for 17 years. She now works as a dental assistant.
The crash
On Dec. 3, 2025, Coda was on her way home from work when she was involved in a five-vehicle crash.
“So, I don’t remember leaving work at all, but I just got on the highway; it’s like two minutes that I literally just left work, and then there was an erratic driver, so we were all stopped. And the guy behind me hit me at 70 mph and smashed me and the car in front,” Coda said.
The impact left her in a coma, with doctors telling her family to prepare for the worst…
