If you are looking for a sweet ride, the Luxemburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the Luxemburg Police Department are asking you to avoid two “businesses.”
In an email sent to chamber members Thursday, officials identified Cruxel Automotive, supposedly located next to Augie’s, and Chambers Automotive, supposedly located in a Spartan Construction warehouse, as fraudulent businesses. The discovery came after a person emailed the chamber asking about a local car business he had seen online that seemed a little too good to be true.
While the websites looked legitimate, appeared to be local, and offered attractive vehicles, there were signs that the businesses were nothing but a mirage. According to chamber officials, the addresses belonged to different businesses, while the reviews and deals being offered were also suspicious…
