Southern Door’s girls cross country team won Tuesday’s Packerland Conference Championship on the Shorewood Cross Country Course at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
The Eagles tied with Kewaunee for the top score with 40, but won the conference title on a tiebreaker with their sixth runner finishing ahead of the Storm’s sixth runner. Peshtigo (69) finished third, followed by Sevastopol (105), Sturgeon Bay (117) and Oconto (143) as the only girls teams with at least five finishers.
