GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) — A firefighter is running a game ball from Lambeau Field to Ford Field in Detroit ahead of the upcoming Packers game against the Detroit Lions, a trip of about 313 miles.
Cody DeLorenzo partnered with the Detroit Lions, the Green Bay Packers and Game on Cancer with Henry Ford to make the run. He said the effort is meant to raise awareness of cancer screenings and help families affected by cancer.
