Eagle Days in Kaukauna offers chance to meet, learn about, and celebrate nation’s symbol

KAUKAUNA (WLUK) — It’s a chance to see and learn about our nation’s symbol. “Eagle Days” takes place at the 1000 Islands Environmental Center in Kaukauna. “It’s just a day to celebrate and recognize one of the most spectacular things that we have being along the Fox River here, which is being able to view bald eagles. And it’s a day for us to just get the community out, along with some naturalists, and other volunteers who are familiar with the nesting we have in the area, and try to see some bald eagles that are here,” said Brad Garrity, 1000 Islands Environmental Center site manager.
