Interviewed candidates (or interview request):

Brandon Staley, former Los Angeles Chargers head coach

Then, he was hired by the Los Angeles Chargers as a head coach and couldn’t replicate the success. Joe Barry worked under Staley for the Rams, and they both run the same scheme.

Report: Dianna Russini and Matt Schneidmann (The Athletic)

Aden Durde, Dallas Cowboys defensive line coach

Durde is a former NFL and minor leagues player. He started his coaching career in 2018 as an Atlanta Falcons defensive quality control. He was promoted to outside linebackers coach in 2020, and has been the Cowboys DL coach since 2021.
