GREEN BAY — An early February neighborhood meeting on Green Bay’s west side will mark Kwik Trip’s initial steps toward building a new store in the 1000 block of West Mason Street.
The popular La Crosse-based convenience store chain invited nearby property owners near to a Feb. 7 informational meeting to learn more about its tentative plan to build a new store at 1049 W. Mason St., according to a copy of the letter posted on social media by Green Bay City Council member Chris Wery. The nearly 3-acre site is currently occupied by a strip mall, office suites and a small outlot building, all vacant.
The letter indicates representatives of Kwik Trip and the city of Green Bay’s planning staff will attend the meeting and answer questions. Wery’s post included a rendering of the site that showed convenience store building and a car wash.
