Welcome to the Streetwise newsletter, where the news comes and finds you!
This week’s newsletter comes with several stories from last month and a story about Military Avenue business district. Two of those stories are about restaurants that we previously announced were coming, and are now open.
The first one is the Heights Pub and Parlor restaurant in downtown Green Bay which reopened under new ownership. This restaurant closed during the pandemic and is now offering American-style food in the east side of the city.
The other story is about Sofreh Eatery, the first Persian café in the area, which opened this week in De Pere. This story talks a bit more about their menu and what people can expect before visiting the site.
Another news we covered was about the former Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Green Bay, which was rebranded and is now the Oneida Hotel. The rebranding also includes changes in the room reservation system and the website.
Also, the East Town Mall continues to grow in stores and businesses. In January we learned Burlington Stores is adding a new location in the mall and is expected to open in spring. The company has another location at at 1616 W. Mason St.
