New owner buys prominent Ashwaubenon site home to Green Bay Packaging factory for 65 years

ASHWAUBENON — The owner of the Green Bay Rockers and Epic Event Center has purchased a prominent, vacant site in Ashwaubenon near both entities.

Mark Skogen, under the name Cormier Property Partners LLC, on Feb. 8 purchased the vacant lot at 750 Cormier Road for $3 million, according to Wisconsin Department of Revenue property transaction records. The site, consisting of two parcels, had previously been owned by Green Bay Packaging Inc.

The purchase gives Skogen, who also is CEO of Festival Foods, control of a site at the center of Ashwaubenon’s commercial districts and directly between two, popular entertainment options he oversees. Skogen in December 2020 bought the Green Bay Rockers , who lease Capital Credit Union Park from the village of Ashwaubenon. And in spring 2021 he opened Epic Event Center concert venue across Cormier Road from the newly-acquired property.

Skogen was not available to comment Tuesday, but in a statement to the Press-Gazette said he plans to redevelop the property, but that no specific use has been determined.
