Jordan Love is a California kid but he’s loving the vibe that Green Bay offers.
“Green Bay’s a great place,” Love told Dan Patrick of “The Dan Patrick Show” last week ahead of Super Bowl LVIII as he reminisced about the season.
The Packers’ laid-back quarterback, who just wrapped up a successful first year as the starter , hit the media circuit prior to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. A topic of conversation during the 25-year-old’s interviews, in addition to what he learned from Aaron Rodgers and the turning points for him and the team, is his impression of Green Bay.
All the attention is on Jordan Love these days now as the Packers starting quarterback
Love has been in Wisconsin now for nearly four years since the Packers moved up in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft to select him with the 26th overall pick .
As the backup for three years, Love didn’t get much attention locally or nationally. But this past year he became the guy in Green Bay, the smallest market by far in the NFL and a franchise with no owner and a season-ticket waiting list of over 140,000 . It’s a place where we all help each other out, especially during snowstorms. And Love is fitting right in .
