SNOW SHOWERS… SLICK TRAVEL EARLY THURSDAY

A fast moving weathermaker moves through tonight and Thursday morning. It is a FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY as several inches of wet snow may fall leading to slippery travel for the Thursday AM commute. A good 1-3″ is expected from Appleton and Green Bay westward. Two locally heavier bands could produce totals of 3-5″ to the NORTH of Green Bay and to the SOUTH of Oshkosh. A wintry mix will move in after 9 p.m. and will turn to steadier snow overnight. The snow wraps up from west to east from 6-9 a.m. Thursday.
