Dollar Tree store in Howard nears completion. What we know so far. Streetwise

HOWARD — Construction of a new retail store in Howard is almost finished.

Dollar Tree broke ground at 340 Cardinal Lane in June 2023. Fifteen months later, the project looks almost completed — the building is erected and grass is planted around the property, but no signs have been installed.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette contacted the company for further details about the opening date, but received no answers at the time of publication of this story.

According to the site plan submitted to the village, it’s a 9,426-square-foot building on a 1.2-acre parcel, with an estimated construction cost of $1.3 million.

The building from the outside looks ready, with some work still being done inside. The parking lot is completed and painted, and trees, bushes and grass are planted.

This will be the second store in Howard, with the other in the north on 2585 Lineville Road, at the intersection with Cardinal Lane. There are locations in Ashwaubenon at 2281 S. Oneida St. and 2799 S. Oneida St., and in east Green Bay at 1940 Main St. and 2460 University Ave.
