Drama filled the Green Bay Packers fantasy when the team announced that Romeo Doubs was suspended. Doubs was suspended due to conduct detrimental to the team. However, there were reports that Doubs was reportedly unhappy with his role, causing some backlash from fans.
Today, Doubs addressed the media about his suspension. The Packers star cited mental health reasons, but refused to elaborate further.
Despite that, Doubs still has the support of his teammates. Packers star cornerback Jaire Alexander told the media what he told Doug’s upon his return, per Kyle Malzhan.
“I talked to Romeo,” Alexander said. “I even reached out and I understand how it is, how things can be and mental health being a big part of how things happen like that. I just wanted to let him know I was there for him and if he needed anything to reach out.”
The Packers have an intriguing wide receiver group. Aside from Doubs, they have two other young standouts in Christian Watson and Dontavion Wicks. In addition, they have a strong tight end group with Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft.
