APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) — Authorities are investigating the discovery of a body in the Fox River near E. Banta Court in Appleton on Friday morning.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 25, 2024, following a report of a body in the water.

The remains were identified as a 68-year-old Appleton man who had been previously reported missing.
Officials do not suspect foul play at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
