The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5…
Once again, it has been another warm day across Northeast Wisconsin! Green Bay broke their daytime high temperature record just before noon today and many more are expected to have shattered high temperature records as well. More information will be released later today. We have also seen wind gusts topping 40mph this afternoon.
The attention turns to out next weathermaker, bringing widespread and much needed rainfall to the area. A cold front is positioned to our west and has already been flaring up a few showers and storms the afternoon across out far western counties. As the atmosphere becomes more unstable, these storms are expected to become more widespread this evening into the overnight hours.
Not expecting any severe weather, but with the amount of moisture in the air, heavy downpours and a few rumbles of thunder are the most likely impacts. The chance for rain should continue through at least 5-6am tomorrow morning.
