Green Bay officials prepare for high voter turnout on Election Day

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Early voting has ended, and officials from the City of Green Bay and surrounding areas are preparing for Election Day on Tuesday.

“We had a really big showing for absentee voting or early voting. We have about 20,000 ballots returned, so I anticipate we may have 30,000 to 35,000 people at the polls tomorrow,” Green Bay City Clerk Celestine Jeffreys said.

Polls will be open across Wisconsin from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. For those who still need to register, Jeffreys said voters can print and fill out the registration form at home to save time.

“For Election Day registration and voting, you’ll need two different types of documents,” she said. “If you have a current Wisconsin driver’s license with your current address, that can suffice for both registering and voting. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to bring a proof of residency document.”

Wisconsin DMV locations will extend hours at customer service centers Monday and Tuesday until 6 p.m.
