Officials identify victim in fatal wrong-way crash on I-41 in Outagamie County

GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials have identified the victim of a fatal crash that occurred late on Tuesday night in Grand Chute.

According to the release, the crash occurred around 10:20 p.m. near Lynndale Drive.

The victim, identified as 27-year-old Austin Luehring of Neenah, was heading southbound on I-41 in a sedan when an SUV heading northbound in the wrong lane collided with him, and he was pronounced dead on site. No alcohol was deemed to be involved in the crash.

The driver was identified as 77-year-old Rosalie Polsin of Hortonville. She was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No charges have been filed at this time.
