Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity dedicates 138th home to single mother

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity celebrated the dedication of its 138th home, handing over the keys to new homeowner Sheena Skenadore.

Skenadore, a single mother, contributed more than 250 hours of work on the home, making her dream of stable housing for her children a reality.

“It means a lot because we won’t have to look for a house or wonder who will rent to us,” said Skenadore. “I’ll be able to have this house for them to call a home.”

The dedication marks another milestone for Habitat for Humanity in its mission to support families in need of affordable housing.
