GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — New Land Enterprises, a Milwaukee-based developer, plans to transform a surface parking lot in downtown Green Bay into an eight-story luxury apartment building, featuring a rooftop pool, first-floor retail, and tenant parking.
“There’ll be at least a couple hundred, maybe 300 or 400 new residents living downtown in this new development,” said Matthew Buchanan, Deputy Development Director for the City of Green Bay. “The ground floor will have about 4,400 square feet of commercial space on the corner of Cherry and Washington, which could potentially be a restaurant or café.”

The development aims to increase foot traffic and provide additional housing in Green Bay, a move that Jeff Mirkes, Executive Director of Downtown Green Bay Inc., believes will further energize the city.
“We look forward to welcoming a whole new array of residents who will call this neighborhood their home,” Mirkes said. “As we look ahead to the future, we’re already considering nearby locations for events.”
